We Miss You Ryan LeRoux, Police Shooting Victim

His grieving parents, Paul and Rhonda LeRoux, are in the impossible situation of trying to process this tragedy, which has been made more difficult by the circumstances surrounding Ryan's death. Ryan was the victim of 24 shots fired by four Montgomery County police officers. Sadly, Ryan's family has not been provided with the answers they deserve regarding the circumstances of the tragic night. Ryan's family are lifelong Maryland residents; his father is a property appraiser, his mother is a nurse, and his brother is a college student in Maryland on a football scholarship; all are heartbroken by the loss of Ryan.
Ryan loved his family and friends and was a member of Jesus the Divine Word Parish. He also loved playing cards and bowling with his family, kayaking, going to waterparks, his yearly family vacations to Myrtle Beach, and was involved in ROTC and football in high school. Ryan deeply loved both of his grandmothers; he lost his maternal grandmother Mattie this past month from complications resulting from dementia which was incredibly difficult for him; the family visited her weekly at hospice and Ryan was crushed when she passed away this June.
Any financial assistance to support Ryan's family with funeral arrangements would be very much appreciated, so that Ryan's life can be honored in a way that pays tribute to this loving , fearless young man who lost his life far too soon.
