RIP Sarah Buick who lost her young life on Nevis

Update 19th August 2021.  Thank you everyone for your kind donations, the monies raised are being withdrawn by me and transferred to Sarah's Mum to split between charities included but not limited to Scottish Mountain Rescue, SARDA (Search and Rescue Dogs Association) and horse charities of which Sarah was extremely passionate of.  As you all know, I did not know Sarah personally however, like so many of us, prayed for a different outcome for the Buick family and like so many of us in the hiking groups was devastated when the outcome was not a positive one x The hill climbing community and beyond are heartbroken by the recent events at Ben Nevis. I hope that any money raised helps Sarah's family at this most horrific time x may she rest in peace and may her family take comfort in the kindness, thoughts and well wishes from around the world at this time x
