Ciao, per chi non mi conosce mi chiamo Mauro Lorenzon, provengo da Jesolo da dove son partito con mescita a tutto stappo nel 1982 poi son approdato a Venezia nel 2002 e ho gestito per 18 anni L'osteria Maskareta a Venezia, dopo acqua granda del 2019 siam ripartiti...ma dopo il lockdown di marzo 2020 dobbiamo ancora riaprire, nonostante il trasferimento in una VECCHIA OSTERIA in Calle dei Forni 2282/a,che abbiamoAcquisito!! e ci trasferiremo.Prevediamo di riaprire al più presto, la data presunta, se tutto va bene con permessi e autorizzazioni avute, spostiamo la data al 12 aprile 2024 in coincidenza con la Biennale ARTE 2024. La Nostra filosofia sarà confermata ed ecocompatibile con cibi e vini Buoni oltre il Gusto!!! Il locale che si chiamerà ENOiTECA La Caneva da Mauro & Nadia....ENOiTECA- GUESTERIA a tutto stappo, tutte le bottiglie di Vino presenti in cantina sono in mescita PER UN SOLO CALICE....siamo,ancora unici al Mondo a farlo!!! ENOiTECA, marchio di cui da sempre sono proprietario ed inventore. I am from a beach town located just outside of Venice called Jesolo where i starter pulling corks back in 1982. Back then, i owned and operated wine bar called "La Caneva" known throug hout Italy because I would gladly open any bottle on the shelves to serve by the glass. Sommeliers and wine lover from around Italy and beyond would stop by to taste various wine in great company. In 2002, I moved to Venice where I opened La Maskareta, a wine bar with a limited venetian menu, toghether with my wife Nadia. It was one of the few placed in the city you could go for a glass of wine after midnight and became a sort of institution. In 2019, the city of Venice was suffered major flooding, or "acqua alta GRANDA",and then experience the lockdown starting in March 2020, along whith the rest of the word. Sadly, we have yet to reopen. In the meantime, we purchase a historic taverne localed near the Arsenale, known primarily as home to the venice's Art Biennale. we hope to open as soon as possible to continue our mission of serving good food and good wine in an eco-friendly way. We have decided to turn to fundraising in raise the additional money needed to complete te rennovation. The new wine bar ENOiTECA be called "in Caneva da Mauro & Nadia" and it will maintain the tradition starter in my first wine bar, or rather all wines can be served by the glass! We will celebrate wine culture and education, allowing guest to explore otherwise inaccessible bottles. As you can imagine, restoration and conservation cost in Venice are higher than is most cities so I turn to you, my dear friends and fellow wine lovers, to help us in the process.
