Ripartire insieme dopo l'alluvione, yes we can!

Cari amici,

sono Giovanni, sono nato a Bologna ma da qualche anno vivo a Forlì con mia moglie Veronica e le nostre 3 figlie: Beatrice (5 anni), Rebecca (3 anni) e Irene (3 mesi).

Un anno fa, dopo tanti sacrifici, siamo riusciti a comprare la nostra casa: piano terra e taverna, in Via Gorizia, a 400 metri dal fiume Montone.

Il 16 maggio, l’alluvione l’ha distrutta nel giro di pochi minuti. L’acqua ha portato via tutto.

Adesso ci troviamo a dover sostenere le spese per rimuovere acqua, fango e per liberare la casa. Presto dovremo ricomprare letti, cucina, mobili, rifare gli impianti…

Per questo motivo vi chiedo di aiutarci, per come potete, con una donazione.

Al momento abbiamo una sistemazione provvisoria, ma non vediamo l'ora di poter ricostruire la nostra casa e abitarla di nuovo.

Per farlo abbiamo bisogno di voi.

My name is Giovanni, I was born in Bologna (Italy) but I've been living in Forlì, a small city in the Emilia-Romagna region, for a few years with my wife Veronica and our 3 daughters: Beatrice (5 years), Rebecca (3 years) and Irene (3 months).

A year ago, after many sacrifices, we managed to buy our house: ground floor and basement room, in Via Gorizia, 400 meters far from the Montone River.

On May 16th, the flood destroyed our house in a matter of minutes. The water took everything away.

Now we find ourselves having to bear the costs of removing water, mud and clearing the house. Soon we will have to buy new beds, kitchen, furniture, redo the heating and electric systems…

For this reason, I am asking you to help us, however you can, with a donation.

At the moment we have temporary accommodation, but we can't wait to rebuild our house and live in it once again.
