Rippy's Spinal Injury and Surgery

In 2018, John and Amanda Kennedy adopted an adorable, spunky Dachshund-Boxer mix and named her Rippy after the bar they fell in love at, Rippy's Honky Tonk in Nashville, TN. She has grown to be a sweet and loving dog. Rippy loves to play, run in the grass, and snuggle under the blankets.

Unfortunately, Rippy was a victim in a dog attack in December 2023 where she appeared to have minor injuries and was on the road to recovery. A few weeks later, Rippy lost all motor function in her back legs and is in need of a spinal surgery due to a ruptured disk. The surgeon reports that there is a 95% chance of it being successful and getting Rippy her mobility back. And of course, with surgery comes a cost and the cost of Rippy's surgery will be $10,000.
