Rise for Ayden

Hi Everyone,

Redlands Open Mens players and staff are fundraising to support one of our players, Ayden.

Whilst playing a sport he loves Ayden has suffered a significant injury that not only means time off work to recover but also has put an end to his playing future.

Ayden was injured during a tackle resulting in him suffering seizures and the immediate inability to feel his legs. The following days saw Ayden regain some sensation of feeling back in his legs. However he continues to suffer with spasms and his ability to walk has been impacted.

Doctors have confirmed that Ayden has significant nerve damage, protruding discs in both his neck and lower spine and that he will need rehab/physiotherapy in order to learn how to properly walk again.

As Ayden is unable to work at this time, you can imagine this loss of income will have a significant impact, so we are trying to raise funds to assist him along with his partner Ali and take some of the stress and pressure off so they can focus on Ayden's recovery.
