Rise for Rhinos
Tax deductible
THE LATEST REPORT
of the numbers of rhinos killed in South Africa in the last decade is dire. Kruger National Park, one of the jewels of Africa, had a 65% INCREASE in the loss of black and white rhino killed by poachers over the last nine years.
This is tragic, heart-wrenching news.
ENDANGERED BLACK AND WHITE RHINOS
are being killed by criminal poaching gangs so their horns can be chopped off and sold to syndicates that turn the keratin (the same compound as your fingernails) into powder or trinkets to be sold in illegal markets in Southeast Asia. These amazing animals, on the cusp of vanishing without our help, are continually threatened by human greed. Without people like you, their survival on planet earth is in peril.
DON'T GIVE UP HOPE!
VETPAW, Veterans Empowered to Protect African Wildlife has been fighting the scourge of poaching on the ground in South Africa for the last five years.
TODAY we assist local park rangers and reserve owners on the Eastern Cape of South Africa protect their endangered rhinos and elephants with techniques learned from our service in the U.S. military.
OUR POST 9-11 VETERANS
run and operate a unique organization that utilizes veteran’s valuable taxpayer-funded skills to assist veterinarians, conservationists, local park rangers, and law enforcement to help stop the killing of these innocent animals.
EVERY DAY,
our Veteran team members help secure the reserve we work on and support the local communities and staff they rely on. We make sure the rhinos, elephants, and other animals remain unharmed by criminal poachers. Our methods help ensure their longevity and chances of breeding to help re-populate their decimated numbers. VETPAW changes the lives of our veterans by giving them gainful employment that leads to training in the world of endangered species conservation.
RISE WITH US
and other like-minded people around the world and DONATE to support a veteran standing guard over a species that is no match for human avarice and greed. VETPAW has helped create a safe haven for our team members and the animals they protect a chance to thrive.
OUR BABIES
born in 2019 and 2020 are thriving! Their parents came from other reserves that were under threat. VETPAW helped relocate them to our protected reserve and they interacted with our original crash and nature took its course. This is our hope for the future and we ask you to join us in helping protect them and grow their numbers back.
VETPAW and the reserve we work with have committed to increasing the number of Southern black and white rhinos we protect to have a positive impact against the poaching crisis.
WITH YOUR HELP we can put more VETPAW TEAM MEMBERS on the ground and expand our mission to other impacted areas where animals and babies like these are threatened. FOR AS LITTLE AS $10.00 YOU CAN HELP OUR FIGHT!
WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT!
