My name is Alexandra

I am creating this fundraiser to help my dear friend and musical soul sister, Rose and her husband Patrick in their time of need.

Rose is a true inspiration to us all. She has inspired and mentored countless students throughout her nine years of teaching high school music, and she has inspired friends including myself, to be the best people we can be, and to live our lives to the fullest.

To know Rose is to be inspired.

Rose is a person who truly strives to be her best self every day. There’s nothing she can’t do. From living a healthy lifestyle, writing and playing music, roller skating, hiking, rock climbing, crocheting, baking and so much more, Rose does it all with passion and grace.

Our friend recently had her life turned upside down. On October 15 2023, Rose was admitted to the hospital after being diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia.

She is currently staying at and undergoing extensive Chemotherapy treatment at Memorial Sloan Kettering hospital. With her husband by her side, she is passionately and gracefully fighting through this.

Due to this unforeseen and life-altering circumstance, I am asking for donations to assist Rose and Patrick with covering their basic living expenses, as we do not know exactly how long it will be until things return to normal for them. Treatment for AML typically involves a bone marrow transplant, a procedure that can be both costly and difficult to coordinate.

This goal was determined by their estimated expenses for the upcoming 6 months with partial income being taken into consideration.
