Rise Life Services: Professional Development Fund

Dear Friends, Family, and Community,

The Rising Star/Shining Star program was developed to identify future leaders of the organization. Staff that embraced the values of the organization and did exceptional work were nominated by their peers to win these awards. Rising Star recipients then had the ability to nominate themselves for the Shining Star Award. In essence, they applied to win a monetary award to help themselves in their own career growth and professional development.

We celebrated three finalists last year in the Shining Star program and awarded them a professional development award. Last year our award winners chose to use their awards to assist them with finishing a degree, enrolling in school to be an LPN, and gaining certifications in recreation therapy. Please help us build this fund so we can continue to offer professional development assistance to our staff.

Your donation will go directly to the staff of Rise Life Services and in turn will then have a positive impact on the people we support at Rise Life Services.
