Rising from the Ashes - Pineal Kingdom GoFundMe

The Kingdom of Pineal is a family community established in north central Portugal.

Our community is currently established within 14 hectares of land with temporary and permanent inhabitants including men, women and children who travelled from around the world to help co-create our vision.

The Kingdom of Pineal was founded in 2020 with the purpose of creating a community based on self determined initiatives such as environmental protection, natural health, self sustainable living, as well as various other sovereign projects.

Our intentional way of living includes growing our own food, making our own hemp clothing, producing our own music, building ecologically-friendly homes and offering various other spiritual initiatives to the public such as meditation workshops.

The Aim of the Kingdom of Pineal is to embody being the change we wish to see in the world, by striving to live as naturally and authentically as possible.

As a result of our unconventional way of living, our community has gracefully faced many challenges over the years. On Saturday the 14th of September at around 1:30 am, we were forced to evacuate as forest fires swept through our community destroying some of our property and belongings.

We are thankful that no one in our community was harmed or injured, however, the fires destroyed our music studio/equipment, the polytunnel we use to grow food in the winter as well as several homes, burning most of our hemp clothing and other personal belongings.

Despite this setback, as a community we remain positively resilient and are choosing to see this as an opportunity to rise from the ashes, start afresh and rebuild in order to continue our mission.

We have set up this GoFundMe initiative to help us raise the funds needed to kickstart our recovery and rebuild.

We are seeking your help to raise €60,000 which will be used to purchase hemp fabric to make ourselves new clothes, replace our music equipment, repair our polytunnel and build 2 tiny houses for those who lost their homes.
