Rising Sun Produce Fire Recovery

We are Rising Sun Produce in Seattle. We first opened our doors in 1979 and have been owned and operated by one man, Bud Goodwin, to provide fruits, vegetables and groceries ever since. Serving the residents of Seattle and of the U-District, Ravenna and Roosevelt neighborhoods has been our privilege - we have been repaid with one of the kindest and most loyal customer bases a small business could ask for.

On the morning of February 9th, a fire caused extensive damage to our store. We count ourselves extremely lucky that the damage was not worse but significant repairs will need to take place before we can reopen our doors. We hope that those we have helped and who have supported us thru the years will support us once again while we recover.
