Rising up Our Sister Jessica Smithson

Our dear sister, friend, and mother needs support from her community; the time has come for her to rebirth a new life and a financial boost is pivotal for this to happen.  Contributions to this campaign will go towards assuring safe and adequate housing for Jessica and her two children as well as moving expenses. To assure sustainability as a single mother, a portion will be set aside for developing her woman-owned business.

The reality for so many women leaving unhealthy/unaligned relationships hinges on finances. So many women are forced to stay in environments that are deeply unhealthy due to a lack of financial resources. As a member of the community which Jessica has built over a lifetime, I am reaching out on her behalf. Let us help rise her up out of such an environment; our sister needs us. 

An ever-flowing well of love, support, and care, Jessica SHOWS UP.  She ALWAYS shows up for those she loves as well as for those she barely knows, but who touch her generous heart.  Her desire to help others has created a vast community of people around her who love her deeply and respect her work in the world as a medicine woman, committed mother, birth doula, culinary alchemist, fierce love warrior, and women's advocate.
