Risley Middle School XC Fundraiser

Hello Everyone!

My name is Annika Halverson and I am a first year Cross Country coach at Risley Middle School in Pueblo, Colorado.

I moved to Pueblo, CO last summer through Teach For America (TFA) to be an 8th grade English Language Arts teacher at Risley Middle School and wound up coaching as well!

We don't have a budget at all so we are lacking some essential supplies and I want to help my kiddos shine. They are determined, gritty and persistent. They are leaders in the making. Our two top 8th grade boys placed 1st and 2nd in our first meet last week!! More importantly, they celebrated every one of their teammates as they crossed the finish line. One of them even jumped back in the race to run the last 100 meters with a struggling 6th grader to encourage him through the finish. We have some seriously talented leadership on this team.

Please consider donating any amount you are able to buy my kids a tarp, snacks, meals, uniforms, and potentially even shoes. We have athletes running in t-shirts and some running in adidas high top sneakers.
