Rita Nolan

Hi! My name is Joyce Clark and I have started this go fund me to help my good and dear friend Rita Nolan. We recently took a trip to Disney and the day before we were to come home, she got very sick. She was in a lot of pain and very nauseated. She got some better the day we came home and did good on the flight back, but the next day she was in excruciating pain to the point that she had to be taken to the ER. After nine days of hospitalization, tests, and a thorough checkup, they discovered that she had colon cancer. She had no prior symptoms that anything was wrong. Her first indication was the day before we come home. She is to have surgery in a couple of days to remove the cancer and check to make sure it has not spread to her lymph nodes. We are hoping and praying for the best, but in the meantime she has not been able to work. But you know how bills are, they keep on coming due and need paying. Without this income, she can't pay them. Rita is a kind, loving and very supportive person. She would do anything for anyone that is within her power to do, and has done many things to help others, but now she needs our help. Some have questioned how she could do a trip to Disney and need financial help. Let me clear this up. The trip had been planned for a year. She had absolutely no clue what was going on within her body. It did not manifest itself until the day before we came home. Had she have known what was going on with her health, she would not have made that trip. None of us have the power to foresee such situations. Like I said earlier, Rita is a good person. She has seen to others needs many times. Like the old saying goes, to know her is to love her. She is a down to earth, caring and understanding woman. She has been a blessing to me.
