Rites of Passage and Empowerment Program to Ghana

my name is Christine and I am a mentor with the Rites of Passage and Empowerment Program.

 

This July, R.O.P.E. participants will embark on a life-changing journey to Accra, Ghana. They will complete service-learning projects, engage in conversations with young Ghanaians to learn about their culture and customs, and will also visit historic sites.

 

But, we need your help! Yes, as many may know, R.O.P.E. has been awarded American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds. However, this financial award has a specific requirement and cannot be used for international travel. We are committed to honoring those guidelines.

 

Our current fundraising efforts will help to provide our scholars’ with an unforgettable global experience. Please visit the R.O.P.E. booth at the Juneteenth Celebration.
