Help River recover from ACL Surgery!

Help River make a comeback after tearing his ACL.

River- a friend, a coach, and truly an all-around great human to know. He has been a beloved member of the Portland OR climbing, parkour and ninja scene for years.

During his years as staff with Skyhook Ninja Fitness, he has educated thousands through lessons in climbing, ninja, parkour, circus and, teaching the ninja team students. However and most importantly, he has touched the lives of so many during the abundant off-the-clock time he dedicates to hanging out and contributing his unique and charming brand of shenanigans, tomfoolery and wisdom.

River is at his best when he can be an athlete. From his high school days competing in track and field, to the pre-injury present day when he competes in climbing, and ninja competitions, as well as performing circus, and summiting mountains.

River began an unfortunate and difficult new journey recently when in returning to gymnastics to get back to teaching shape he tore his ACL. He has had to undergo major surgery and has a very long and difficult road ahead to get back to where he was.

River and his family have done a great job so far, but this injury has been draining in so many ways. While River has been out of the game, the world kept going without him. He finds himself still needing time and resources to heal. This is why I started this. I love River and like so many others River has selflessly assisted me with whatever I needed when I needed it. There has never been a more important time for the community around River to come together to help him stabilize his life and heal up properly so he can continue to be the person we all love him for being.
