River Queen Greens Community Farm Shares
Donation protected
River Queen Greens is an urban farm in New Orleans. We grow Certified Naturally Grown produce for home cooks in this city. Our main sales outlet during Covid-19 is our Farm Share that allows customers to purchase a weekly share of our veggie harvest and pick it up at a convenient neighborhood location.
We are raising money to help subsidize Farm Shares for neighbors who cannot afford a full price share. Our goal is to raise enough funds to be able to offer 20 community members half-off shares during our 15-week Fall season. We hope to play a small role in addressing the rapidly expanding problem of food insecurity and lack of access to fresh, healthy food during these challenging times.
For every $2 donated by you, we will contribute $1 from our own resources. This means that a $20 donation will result in $30 worth of food for a New Orleans family.

Our Fall season begins September 14th and we would like to have all our Community Share members signed up by then. We feel incredibly fortunate to be able to grow healthy food for our community, and thank you all for being a part of this!
