River & Stars: Cosmic-Geomancy Circulation

We are Michael & Christiana. Our mission is to get ceremonial-blessed Susquehanna River Water to the Rio Grande this August. Along the way we weave sister river waters and their stars above in teaching ceremonies with small groups/communities. We completed an abbreviated, trial-run of this during the summer of 2023 in a 33-day cross-country road trip. Now we’re ready to drop-in a little deeper with the spirits of these lands, waters, skies, and YOU!

We are raising these funds to support ourselves in this mission from April to October which includes 9 River & Stars Ceremonies, including the semi-finale at the Rio Grande in late summer/early fall. The final ceremony concludes the circulation when the richest ceremony water, including water from Rio Grande, is returned to the Susquehanna, one of the oldest rivers on earth…one of the most powerful Goddesses to pay respects for her sovereignty, even through 400 years of bondage to empire magic. Holding ceremony and moving along the lands doesn’t earn a steady income and we aren’t part of a church or higher institution, so we lean on ‘the people’ to be the church, if you will. We live simple and frugal lives but we still need to pay to play in gas, occasional lodging, and car insurance (the worst!). If you believe in the magic of our mission, we are your missionaries. ($5k covers our butts for 6 months AND gets us out to Rio Grande without having to be ‘on the hustle & grind.’ The hustle & grind doesn’t flow well with the sincerity, slowness and stillness of ceremony and continuing synchro-mystic research.)

In case you don’t know us well yet….

Michael is an astrologer and the keeper of the Susquehanna (River) Mystery story. Christiana, a ceremonialist and guide, comes from a maternal lineage born along the Susquehanna River; herself being born in what the Algonquin language translates in English to “at the end of all water where Great Spirit lives”, which is Occoquan River, Woodbridge, VA. Christi and Michael were introduced to each other by a Rastafarian High Priest two summers ago and had an immediate inner-knowing that something was brewing! This Christmas Michael gave her a ring….

The ring was from his Grandmother Rhea and displays an insignia of an open book, lighted oil lamp, and a laurel wreath. The insignia representing the motto “Esse quam veridi”, meaning “to be, rather than to seem.” Essentially, the ring emblems “Sincerity”, a special word and language-story that Christi has been telling since her college days.

Michael didn’t know any of the above details, he just knew the ring jumped out of his mother’s jewelry box as a ring that he wanted to give Christi. The insignia also comes from a larger seal used by the City of Baltimore - in the larger seal, the Goddess Pallace Athena, a benevolent warrior type, stands with her ‘shaking spear’ and the Phoenician cap draped on top of it. Rhea Adler (Michael’s Grandmother whom the ring came from passed down through Michael’s mom) is one of the Goddesses in the pantheon of Pallace Athena. Part of the Susquehanna Mystery story is the worship of river goddesses, an old Celtic and Pagan tradition carried forth today in modern pseudo-ritual behavior and language painting - hidden in plain sight. So, why the Rio Grande? It’s simple in some ways: Rio & Rhea - Grande & Grandmother. When the Grandmother Waters speak, it is our duty to listen and its not just “seeming so” anymore - our journey together is reflecting back to us the nature of our inner being - we are mystics, river keepers, water shamans, purifiers of the land, and so on.

Grandmother Rhea, Goddess Rhea, and Goddess Sequana are calling to be woven together across the land. There are so many layers to this calling, so in other ways, this is a very complex story to unfold, AND we will be doing JUST THAT along the way as Michael continues his synchro-mystic research of the rivers, stars, and lands!

As we move from river to river, gathering to gathering, we sit in ceremony together with those who desire to learn about the Susquehanna Mystery and natural or organic astrology with a way-finding tool called the StarBoard. As they learn, they ceremoniously assist in the blessing and weaving the waters above and the waters below. We bring the Susquehanna River water to each gathering and the circle sits with the water infusing it with their power, harmony, gratitude, and celestial connection the stars above that are charted right out in front of them on the StarBoard.

The Grandmother Rivers (Sequana and Rhea) are calling to us to weave - our energy, our communities’ energy, the stars with the waters, the waters with the stars, and ULTIMATELY - the Susquehanna River Waters with the Rio Grande Waters. We listen to our Grandmothers when they speak. Will you help us heed their call?
