Riverkings National Trip to Boston

For the first time in USPHL program history the Wisconsin Rapids Riverkings Hockey team has clinched a trip to the National Championship being held in Boston, MA. The 41-4-3 Riverkings will travel to Boston, MA March 6-12 to play the top teams from all over the country. They will continue with their strength and persistence on and off the ice for every effort to bring the National Championship home to Wisconsin Rapids. The trip to Nationals is a great honor for this group of young men and the supporting community they represent. Throughout the year the Riverkings have been volunteering in the community to give back to the generous fan base and support system that has given the Riverkings the culture that they live by. The hardworking players need financial support to fund a safe and successful trip for everyone. The regular season is 100% funded by the team sponsors, player's families, and events, but at this point any additional progress is strictly funded directly by the players. Financial support for this opportunity would be contributing to a landmark event for the team and community as Wisconsin Rapids has never had a team participate at this level. The team needs to offset the cost of making the trip to Nationals in order to make it less of a financial challenge for the players. Support is needed and greatly appreciated from all who participate. The Riverkings Team will make the community proud by representing the sponsors and fans that have supported the team the entire season.
