RJ, our hero ❤️

I write this with a heavy heart, uncertainty, and hope. This is the story of RJ. The bravest little boy we know.
Last May 2018 at the age of 2 1/2, our nephew RJ was diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroblastoma cancer.
He underwent aggressive treatment and the cancer began to decrease in strength and eventually got to a point where he was healthy enough to undergo a surgery in August to remove the tumor in his abdominal area.
With continued treatment, including chemotherapy and stem cell treatment, he maintained good health and the cancer was almost gone.
Last week, with no warning, he felt pain in his legs and after several tests, sadly the cancer has become aggressive and has now spread in both legs, his spine and head.
Rj turns 4 tomorrow and has been released for 48 hours to celebrate his birthday with his big brother JJ.
His dad called on the family today with a lost heart and a plea for help and prayer.
He has had to juggle working full time and going back and forth to the hospital to help RJs mom as well as tend to his older brother. Due to RJs current decline, he now needs to take time off to help with RJs care.
We are reaching out to you all in hopes to help RJs family with anything you can.
With love and hope,
RJs family
