My nephew Orion was struck by a car this morning,walking his bike in a crosswalk on his way to school. The driver was unliscensed and the only thing that saved Orion was his helmet, he was in surgery for hours, his upper and lower left leg was broken, his upper right arm, his clavacle, several ribs, a couple of vertebrae in his neck and a posdible hairline feacture in his pelvis. Amazingly he is expected to recover, however, it will be a long road. My sister is a single mom and the sole support of her 3 children at home. At this point she isnt thinking about the long term costs and the fact that it will be months before she can return to work, nor should she be. But, i am and i see how bad things can get, financially, and quickly. I dont want her to have to worry about that, i want her to take care of her children, knowing she will be ok. Between her and i, we know a lot of people, if everyone donated $1,$5,$10 whatever they have, it would be enough. I am not asking for me, i am asking for Orion, for Sandy, for Z and Ezi....if you can and it is in your heart well that would be lovely...Blessed Be
