Sierra Leone Nurses & CHO/A
Donation protected
I am a nurse who was fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to be part of the uk Ebola response team working in Sierra Leone . This gave me the opportunity to work with outstanding national and international staff in difficult and upsetting circumstances. Ebola has had devastating effects upon the people and economy of Sierra Leone . Medical and nursing staff have died in caring for their relatives and patients. Now the outbreak is resolving and healthcare workers attempt to return to their studies they are finding resources are scarce and tuition fees increasing. Most do not have access to the internet to access up to date information . Books are important to all in these circumstances. Laptops are useful for writing essays and presentations. I am supporting several nurses and community health officers (CHO) but I could support more with help. These nurses and CHO deserve as much help as possible as they have given so much themselves . Any donations will be used with integrity and the heart they are intended for .
