Introducing Nia Sweatt the 2016 Miss Jabberwock!!!!
Please join me in congratulating the newly crowned 2016 Miss Jabberwock, our daughter, Nia Simone Sweatt!
The pageant was sponsored by Delta Sigma Theta of Greensboro and Greensboro Alumnae Delta Cultural Enrichment Center!
James, Nia and I would like to sincerely thank our family and friends for their support and prayers. God is Good all the time and is still in the blessing business!!!
A very special thank you to those who donated towards her to become Miss Jabberwock! Each of you were so selfless and so giving! Please know that all the scholarship funds will go towards her continued education to major in biology and become an anesthesiologist.
We would also like to thank Mac McCain for escorting her - he is the son and grandson of very dear and close family friends. He sacrificed his Sunday's to be at many practices with Nia and the results were amazing - he did a fabulous job!
Last but not least, we would like to thank the beautiful women of Delta Sigma Theta of Greensboro and especially Co-director Mrs. Robin Daye for the constant love and support she gave to Nia and us throughout this process! I have met the kindest, thoughtful and most patient women...my most warmest thank you!
We are all elated and appreciate the love, support and especially prayers sent to her!
