my name is Emilio and as many of you know on December 23 at around 9am my wife and I were heading to finish Christmas shopping with our youngest daughter Alani (1 year old). While On the road we were involved in an bad automobile accident. My wife was pinned in our vehicle & knocked out unconscious. I couldn’t get her out so I got my daughter out and Thank God a off duty dps officer had stopped and helped extract her out of the vehicle until EMS arrived. My wife was rushed to the hospital and her injuries include a broken (humerus) arm , left pelvic / crack in her pelvic bone along with bad deep tongue cuts, as well as brushing all over her body. Alani is doing great despite the cut she has on her tongue from biting it during the accident, bruising and seatbelt burns on her upper chest and the trauma from not being able to nurse like she’s used to. My injuries are left side internal abdominal bruising And fractured ribs. This accident leaves us car less until we can figure out all insurance / attorney / rental car situations. This has left me out of work for at least a couple of weeks which I am the sole provider for my family at this time and it’s left us in a bind financially.
