Fundraiser for Abby Dionne

Hello, as some of you know my sister Abby has had a recent health issue and it's taken some time to get it diagnosed, last week she was told she has MALS, which is an arterial problem that causes a decrease in circulation to areas of the body.

Abby has experienced 30+ pound weight loss, the inability to eat or drink without having extreme pain in her chest and the overall feeling of exhaustion just doing routine activities. She was going to be referred to a vascular surgeon, this past weekend a abdominal aortic aneurysm was discovered and her chest pain is unrelenting, shes unable to sleep or find a position that allows her to rest comfortably; she went to Yale New Haven's Emergency Department and was kept there for testing and met with a vascular surgeon who will do her surgery sometime in the next week. The surgeon offered to admit Abby to the hospital for monitoring until surgery but she opted to go home to be with her children while waiting for surgery, this morning (Monday) she went to work because she needs to keep the mortgage paid and the lights on while she has surgery and is recovering.

If you know my sister you know she would help anyone and has helped many. She's a hard worker, a great mom, animal lover and a cherished family member and friend.

I'm asking you to help Abby because she would never ask for herself.

The funds raised will be used to cover her recovery period which could be 2-3 mos as well as costs and copays not covered by insurance. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
