Help support the future of Leeds Queer Wrestling!

We are a grassroots queer wrestling organization, dedicated to providing a safe and inclusive space for LGBTQ+ individuals to participate and compete in wrestling. We've been running for the past 3 years and this February it's our birthday. Leeds Queer Wrestling was initially started with support from Arts Council England, The Tetley, Curious Arts and East Street Arts.

LQW is run by Roma Hardaker (an artist, personal trainer and community organiser) and Lawless/Rich Tea (an artist, nurse and wrestler). We love wrestling, because everyone can participate no matter what you skill level is.

Unfortunately, our current equipment is worn out and in dire need of replacement. Without new gear, we cannot continue to provide a high-quality experience for our community. Our membership has tripled in the past month and as we continue to grow, we need support to do so.

That's why we're reaching out to ask for your help in supporting the future of Leeds Queer Wrestling. Your donation will go directly towards purchasing new equipment and mats, to pay for first aid training and to help keep us sustainable.

By supporting us, you'll not only be helping to keep our members safe, but you'll also be making a positive impact in the lives of LGBTQ+ individuals who may not have had the opportunity to participate in this sport otherwise. With your help, we can continue to grow and provide a supportive community for all those who want to experience the thrill of wrestling.
