RN w/ breast cancer stage 4 went to liver, spine

Donation protected
Hello,

My name is Jeannie Stewart and I am an RN at Cedar Park Regional Hospital. On July 9, 2019 my life changed forever. I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer that has metastasized to my lymph nodes, spine and Liver.

The Dr. also found 3 spinal vertebrae fractures with 2 tumors. I had spine surgery to remove the tumors. They filled the vertebrae's with cement.

Unfortunately,  pieces of the cement broke loose and travelled through my blood stream and formed a blood clot in my heart and another one in my lungs. Because of the blood clots, I have had to have further tests and treatments from a cardiologist, which has further aggravated my condition.

I am receiving Chemotherapy treatments and 2 Anti-Cancer Drugs. The treatments leave me nauseous,  exhausted and in pain. Because of this I am unable to work.

I am an RN and I have been in Nursing for 28 years. I have 2 dogs, Yoda and Luna. I have always loved taking care of my patients. Now I am the patient in need of help.

Because I am unable to work, it will be impossible to keep up with medical bills associated with my chronic (incurable) disease, pay my rent and my bills.

It is extremely difficult for me to ask for help. Unfortunately , I’m out of options. I’m following the recommendation of my nursing friends and my family by starting this gofundme campaign.

If any kind people could find it in their heart to help me out, I would be extremely grateful. All funds will be used for medical bills, living expenses and ongoing medical treatment.

Thank you for your consideration and help.

Sincerely,
Jeannie Stewart
