Help Tom to Costa Rica

Hi I’m Tom, I am 14 years old and my school have partnered with CAMPS International for a 4 week expedition to Costa Rica!!!

Costa Rica will become my home on this exciting expedition. I will be working alongside conservationists to protect the natural environment and discover an array of colourful marine life as you learn to scuba dive.

Monkeys and toucans will be the closest neighbours. I will learn about innovative and sustainable solutions to environmental issues and get involved in inspiring projects to support the environment, wildlife and community. To top it all off, I will undertake the PADI Open Water Dive Qualification, learning to scuba dive in warm tropical waters, surrounded by exotic fish and the occasional turtle.

Im fundraising to help fund this trip – I plan to run/walk/cycle 639k the south boarder of Costa Rica! I’ll be posting my journey for you to see!

My Target is a whopping £5,000. Part of the challenge to fundraise the cost will help teach me money management, event planning and problem solving
