As Florida recovers from the effects of hurricane Irma, Compass Florida is continuously moved by the local community coming together to help with storm cleanup, repairs, warm meals, temporary housing, displaced pets, and finances. We are proud to be not only #compassstrong but also #floridastrong. It is a reminder that in union, there is strength.
In the spirit of community, our office is collecting items and donations for those affected in Everglades City until Thursday, September 28th.
How will the donations be used?
Donations will be used to purchase the following items for Everglades City:
Clean towels
Wet dry vacuums
Food
Mops
Pressure washer
Sun screen
Bug spray
Vinegar and Hydrogen Peroxide
Charcoal
Gatorade
Bleach
Buckets
Coolers

Compass is building the first modern real estate platform, pairing the industry’s top talent with technology to make the search and sell experience intelligent and seamless.
Who set up this campaign?
The Marketing department at Compass Florida (specifically Madeline Mordarski, a Marketing Associate in Miami) set up this campaign on behalf of our region. I (Madeline) will be withdrawing the funds and delivering them to our office in Naples on a biweekly basis, who will then purchase the items needed for Everglades City.
Where will excess funds go?
If we exceed our goal, additional donations will be split between and sent to the Salvation Army (https://give.salvationarmyusa.org/site/Donation2?df_id=28057&mfc_pref=T&28057.donation=form1)
and Red Cross (https://www.redcross.org/donate/cm/compass-pub)
