Daniel Hernandez Memorial Fund

On August 28th, 2022, we lost our beloved father, Daniel Hernandez, to cancer.

He was a father, a grandfather, a husband, and a friend to many.

In October of 2019, Daniel received a crushing diagnosis of grade four brain cancer. Daniel had his first surgery to remove his cancer in November of 2019 and shortly after, began radiation treatment and chemotherapy. After two and a half years of making progress from his initial diagnosis and surgery, the brain cancer returned. This time more aggressive than before. So Daniel opted for a second surgery. All of us, even Daniel, were hopeful that the second surgery to remove the cancer that had spread in his brain would be successful—allowing us more time to be together. Unfortunately, our hopes were met with more challenges. Ultimately being too much for our father, Daniel, to fight.

He passed quietly with family by his side, with no pain, no struggle, and not alone.

We are raising money to help pay for Daniel's funeral expenses and expenses that grew during his fight for survival. Most of all, we ask that you hold Daniel’s memory close to your heart and pray for his family and friends during this time. Thank you for your generosity, anything helps. God bless!
