Road to Junior Olympics 2023!

Hello everyone, For those that don't know, this is Jaden, our 13-year-old son. He is goofy, caring, quiet and a hardworking individual but if it is one thing you can describe about him (other than his beautiful hair) is that this boy can RUN.

From an early age, Jaden has always shown an interest in sports. From the age of 5 playing t-ball to soccer then transitioning into baseball in CYO he has continued to grow and develop his skills as an athlete. In NWLL, not only was he a left-handed pitcher but it was well known to others that if Jaden was on base no one would catch him.

After years of hearing that he was fast, he took his skills and tried out for his MS Track Team which resulted in 3rd place overall in the NISD 7th grade boy's 100m. It was during this time he discovered his passion for running and we decided to start training his new fond skill with a track club here at home in San Antonio. It was solidified when he made the San Antonio Swift Track and Field Club. With continuous support from the Swift coaching staff and family, Jaden was able to excel and win Gold alongside his teammates in both the District and Regional 4x400. This propelled his dreams when this qualified him to participate in the 2023 Junior Olympics held in Des Moines, Iowa. We are beyond proud and excited about our son's journey to Junior Olympics. We believe competing at the Junior Olympic level will be a great stepping stone towards his future in track and will showcase his leadership, talent and dedication on a national level.

As this is his first year, the road to Junior Olympics comes with a fair share of challenges that include travel costs and financial burdens. It takes a village to raise a child and we are humbly asking our village for your generous donation to help support our son's Road to the 2023 Junior Olympics. Contributions will directly go towards travel costs, hotel stay, rental car, gas and any unforeseen expenses that may arise along the way. No donation is too small and every dollar counts.
