Road to Miami: Keira's CrossFit Fundraiser

My name is Keira and I am from Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. I am a 13-year-old up and coming CrossFit athlete.

I am truly passionate about CrossFit and my work ethic, and relentless determination have allowed me to shine in various local and UK wide competitions over the past few years. In September 2023 I took part in The British Teens Championships and managed to win the title of Fittest Under 15 Female CrossFit Athlete in the UK by finishing 1st place in my age category.

Following on from my success at the British Teen Championships I decided to try my best to qualify for the Miami Wodapalooza Worldwide competition being held in January 2024! Only the top 10 athletes in my age category are invited to the final…and I have managed to gain a place as one of those 10! After completing two weekends full of online workouts that are judged and scored I have managed to secure my spot at the finals.

Miami Wodapalooza is a prestigious event, known for attracting elite athletes from around the world. This event serves as a platform to showcase not only my own talents but also the values and commitment of any sponsor associated with me.

Participating in this competition will provide me with invaluable experience, exposure, and an opportunity to compete against other talented athletes from around the world. Not only will it help me grow as an athlete, but it will also serve as a stepping stone to further shape my long-term athletic journey.

My goal is to become one of the best athletes in my sport and showcase myself at the Miami Wodapalooza in January 2024, and I need your help to turn this into a reality.

Not only am I working hard to excel within CrossFit I also have my sights set on one day competing at the Olympics. I have successfully gained a place on the British Weightlifting Pathway Squad and will be training alongside the best weightlifting athletes and coaches in the UK to hopefully one day step foot onto the Olympic Lifting floor and bring home a medal.

To excel, I need to constantly push my limits. I am ready to work hard, but at the same time, I know that the road to success will be costly. I am raising money and asking for donations / sponsorships to assist with the travel, accommodation and equipment expenses for the event.
