Road to Recovery for Jacee

Update: February 11, 2024

We want to thank everyone who has donated for Jacee. She is continuing her chemo treatments in Winnipeg. We got the news that as long as Jacee continues to get better, she will be getting her bone marrow transplant in a couple months! She has already been matched with a donor!!

Jacee has shown such strength throughout this devastating time and is such an inspiration to all of us. Of course, there are some bad days. But this young woman does not let that get her down. She is the epitome of bravery. We are so very proud of her.

We are so incredibly thankful to all of Jacee’s family and friends that are sending kind words and visits. We especially thank Jacee’s caregiver, Jen. We are so thankful and grateful for you.

We are asking all of our family and friends to share Jacee’s story and this gofundme campaign so we can send Jacee on a much deserved vacation when she kicks cancer’s @$$ and is well enough to travel.

Jacee BigGeorge McMahon is a witty, spunky, hilarious and beautiful 14 year old girl growing up on Big Island Reserve. Last week, Jacee’s world was flipped upside down when she was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). She has started her chemotherapy treatments in Winnipeg and will be receiving her treatments in Winnipeg for the next 6+ months. She is so brave, and is determined to fight showing cancer who is the boss.

We are trying to raise funds for her and her family to able to be with her and be as comfortable as possible during this unprecedented time.
