Road to Recovery for Jim Anderson and Muscle House

Donation protected
UPDATE as of 02/16/2024:
Jim was flown via medical transport to Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center in Ft. Worth. Here, we are waiting for a team of cardiologists and cardio thoracic surgeons to decide what his next steps will be. He is facing multiple tests to determine if he will continue with surgery to fix a minimum of 2 (possibly all 3) valves and 5 blockages in his heart, or if he will look at alternatives such as a mechanical heart or even being placed on the transplant list.
Jim has a long road of recovery ahead, and we are thankful for all the love and support being shown at this time.

ORIGNAL POST:
We are the family and friends of Jim Anderson. If you know Jim at all, you know where to find him…living his dream as the owner of Muscle House Gym in Amarillo, which opened in November of 2023. He finally got the chance to see his dream come true after working hard his whole life and researching and listening to other gym members for over 30 years explain what they want in a facility. He loves sharing his knowledge and experience in the areas of weightlifting, bodybuilding, and nutrition with anyone who is willing to show up and put in the work. Often times, Jim would offer his time and professional advice to others without asking for anything in return. When you stepped foot into Muscle House, you knew you would be greeted by Jim with a smile and conversation.
On January 26th, Jim found himself in the hospital fighting for his life and facing major heart surgery. Since that day, he has been hospitalized awaiting triple bypass with heart valve replacement (a long wait due to no availability in the operating room schedule). This has taken a major toll on his personal and professional life, and we have all come together to do as much as we can to help out and keep Muscle House Gym running smoothly until he is fit to return. There will be many bills to pay, as one can imagine. We are just asking that the community Jim loves and pours himself into with everything he has will kindly consider returning the favor in his time of need. He is looking forward to getting home soon to his 2 fur babies, Jade and Jax, and to his family and friends at Muscle House Gym. If you cannot support financially, we understand! We simply ask for all prayers and words of encouragement, too. We will pass those along! Thank you!
