Road to recovery for Kim Tanguay
Let me tell you about my best friend. Kim is brave, sassy, strong, takes none of your nonsense, and is a loyal, kind-hearted, once in a lifetime friend. Wherever Kim is, laughter is, sincerity is, adventure is, good LOUD music is, and love is. Kim survived a horrific motorcycle accident that tragically claimed the life of her friend, John Blain, and has significantly altered her own.
She has been fighting through back-to-back emergency surgeries in the hospital, spending days in the intensive care unit (ICU). She has an extensive list of broken bones, including her ribs, femur, ankles, elbow, back, pelvis, and substantial deep wounds. She will need extensive therapies and continued medical services. While she battles through this – and believe me, she will – the medical bills will pile up. To make this uphill climb less steep, any financial support you can contribute is appreciated.
The road to recovery for Kim will be long and challenging. There will be bad days and better days, long nights and nights where sleep comes easier. This is a journey Kim will persevere through, with the love and support of us all. Kim has always been a fighter, but in no way does she have to push through this fight alone.
