Road to recovery: Life after brain surgery

Hi my name is Jade Monique, i had Emergency brain surgery this past June! I had a hematoma as well as cerebral herniation. I spent a month in the hospital and now I’m finally out living in an assisted living home recovering trying to put the pieces to my life back together. The accident that i experienced could have ended my life so i am eternally grateful for a second chance. I’m waiting for my next surgery in which doctors have to replace the bone on the right side of my skull, as it had to be removed to operate on my brain and stop the bleeding. I have A long journey of recovery ahead and would like to use whatever funds raised for living expenses and other bills. I am Currently out of work and will not be able to at least until the second surgery is done.
