Help Roaring Cubs Collective Serve More Students

The Roaring Cubs Collective 501(c)3 nonprofit organization was founded in 2023 by two Columbia students, Pranay and Karina, who are committed to the belief that students of all backgrounds should have the opportunity to engage with their scientific passions and develop foundational research skills during their pre-college years. Our board and mentors work with students in one-on-one settings, providing personalized guidance as students progress through the STEM Research Scholars Program (SRSP). Mentors also share their stories and provide advice about academics and college in general.

We currently receive 300+ applications each semester for our program, but are currently only able to serve cohorts of ~50 students at a time. In order to achieve our dream of making science research truly accessible for all high school students, we hope to scale our operations this year - we hope to one day be able to reach a point where we can serve all students who demonstrate interest in our program and not have to turn anyone away.
