Roaring Fork Rd Repair, Burnsville, NC Hurricane Relief
Donation protected
We are a small community of 14 households in the rural town of Burnsville in the mountains of western North Carolina.
Our private road was devastated by the floodwaters of Hurricane Helene. Every one of the culverts on our mile-and-a-half-long road failed, and our road was washed away. Repairs will take a vast sum of money as we need to get the creek off our road and back into place.
We have been relying on the relief efforts of volunteers to supply our needs until our road can once again be made accessible. We've been without power, internet, and cell service since the storm (which is why it has taken so long to get this page up).
Donations are being collected by Jesse and Julie Enloe on behalf of the community. All donations will go directly to supplies, time, and equipment to repair our road, including reimbursement to those who have already so generously donated their time and equipment to starting this long and arduous process. Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated.
