Rob Bonosconi and family

Cancer has affected us all in one way or another. Whether you are a survivor, caretaker, or have lost a loved one, cancer has weaved its evil into your life. It causes as much financial distress as it does emotional pain.

We are starting this go fund me on behalf of the Bonosconi family. Their beloved husband, father, grandfather, and musician bravely battled one of the most aggressive kinds of cancer. Last winter Rob suffered a massive stroke. As a musician he was devastated with the left sided deficits the stroke caused. He believed he would never play bass again. Rob powered through rehabilitation making a full recovery only to find out he had end stage pancreatic cancer that has metastasized to the liver. Even with this devastating diagnosis he stayed positive. He played some gigs with his band, took care of his grand baby, and even when he wasn't feeling his best still would go to dinner with his wife and friends.

After fighting valiantly for 6 months, Rob recently decided to stop treatment. He passed away peacefully early in the morning on Sunday July 21st at home surrounded by his beloved family. Our goal for this family is for them to be able to take the time they need to grieve and heal without financial burdens looming. Rob spent a lot of his life entertaining and serenading people through his musical talent. He will be greatly missed by so many. May he Rest In Peace, and please know a prayer won't go unappreciated. We still have to believe.
