Rob Frid Needs Your Help!

Donation protected
Another Status Update! Rob has really appreciated ALL your Support to keep him off the streets while obtaining his Dog and Cat, which cost about $2000.00. He's managed with your help to get 1st month's rent and needs help with the deposit to stay off the streets and NOT lose his Animals and continue to fight to build emergency support platforms with our PHPA and his Enforcer Alumni brothers Struggling.
The remains of his GoFundMe have gone to keeping them safe with a roof at the cheapest pet-friendly motel in Calgary at 93.00 per day. He has not been eating much, but his will to live and continue to fight for other former Enforcers from our Game WE ALL LOVE needs to continue ❤️ through your Support to find permanent housing. Plus, Rob's medications for Parkinsons and dystonia have been cut off because he has been out of the province of Ontario for over 6 months. He is having a very difficult time finding a doctor in Calgary because of the Canadian Healthcare System cutbacks. He needs financial support for transportation daily to be able to continue to find a doctor who specializes in Traumatic Brain Injuries in conjunction with chronic pain from playing the role he has been protecting his dear teammates for years.

Let's Keep Fridder Alive & Fighting...

Rob was able to pay the fees to get his dog out from the shelter, he also has his cat as well. He's still living in a motel and struggling to pay for room and board each night. Help is still greatly needed.

Rob Frid spent many years sticking up for his teammates. He was always there to fight for one of his brothers on and off the ice. Now he needs some help! Through a recent turn of events and circumstances out of his control, Rob is currently displaced. He’s been forced to live in a hotel with another displaced family in Calgary, AB.

Rob is continuing to support his 16 yr old daughter Tegan he loves very much. On top of that his two animals are sitting in a humane society shelter, and Rob is terrified at what might happen to them, and as always, puts the well-being of others ahead of his own. His current funding to pay for daily living necessities and living expenses is coming to an end, and with the number of brain and bodily injuries Rob deals with every day, he’s unable to take on most types of work.

He was working for a company based on commission, but that company is having trouble getting off the ground, and Rob no longer has that income to fall back on as they have parted ways. Any type of donation you could make would significantly help the situation for Rob, his daughter Tegan, his dog Charley, and his cat Lilly.

Rob has been diagnosed with Traumatic Brain Injury, Dystonia, Parkinson's, Major Depressive Disorder, and Anxiety from Chronic Pain. According to a Neurologist, he has probable Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy CTE as well. Concussion Recovery After Professional Hockey | The Neurologic Wellness Institute
