In the early morning of May 16th, 2017, Rob Hibberts passed away suddenly at the age of 53. Rob was a husband, son, grandfather, friend, brother, and uncle. Early in the morning Rob collapsed in his office at work. He was an athletic trainer, and according to his wife, Ruby, "Rob died doing what he loved to do most, helping people".

To his family and friends, he was the sweetest, most gentle and caring soul you would ever meet. Rob could make any day brighten just by talking to him or seeing his face. He always had a way to make you smile and laugh. His voice will forever be remembered in our heads and hearts. His kind and caring demeanor will always be remembered and cherished. Rob loved his work, he loved his family, and he loved his friends. Anyone who ever met him would instantly be drawn to him and forever his friend.

Rob worked as an athletic trainer for 23 years in many settings and not only touched the lives and hearts of the people he worked with but also his "athletes" in all shapes and sizes. His passing has come quite a shock to everyone who knew him. To the people he worked with, Rob was not only their co-worker and friend, but he was their family. He was more than just a fellow athletic trainer.

To the atheltic trainers and everyone he worked with, we lost part of our family, part of our athletic training family. Losing Rob is a huge loss to the world and the profession, but its a better place just for having him say he was an athletic trainer.

Rob will leave behind many people he loved in his life but importantly, his wife Ruby, a women he would go to the end's of the earth for, whom he adored and loved, and would always be talking about. This week the world lost an amazing man, husband, brother, uncle, friend, and grandfather.

For anyone who would like to help his wife and family, please consider donating. Every little bit will go a long way.

We all love you Ruby and we all loved Rob very much.
