Rob Michaud's family, Kate, Camden and Malcom

The unexpected and sudden passing of one of my oldest and dearest friends, left his two children Camden and Malcolm, his wife Kate, along with all his family and friends heartbroken. Although Rob was one of the bravest and most determined people I have come to know in my life, cancer and complications leading to multiple strokes that no one could recover from, he lost the unwinnable battle. He was however still able to keep his sense of humor during his final fight, referencing Monty Python and how he wasn’t dead yet, and how he planned to live for another 40 years. He wanted to be here for Kate, Camden, and Malcom, to be part of their lives, exploring, skiing, watching football games, going for hikes, and partaking in everything magical life has to offer with them. I cannot write anything that would capture who he was more than the beautifully written obituary Kate wrote and do ask that anyone wanting to know more about who Rob was, please read the very capturing obituary.

As this was sudden, unexpected, and Rob was planning on living another forty years, it has left not only heartache and pain but left some financial uncertainties. There will be some financial burdens, unexpected expenses, and tightening of the belt in these trying times for the Michaud family.
