Rob Palumbo family assistance fund

Hello everyone, my name is RJ Kassabian and I am fundraising for my sister Carolyn and her family. As many of you already know, Carolyn suddenly and unexpectedly lost her husband Rob on 30-December 2023…… he was 59 years old. Carolyn and Rob had been married 38 years and have two wonderful adult children, Anthony and Natalie.

If you know the family at all, you also know that Natalie is a brilliant and gifted visual effects and motion design artist. But Anthony was born with low verbal autism and Carolyn gave up a promising career with the Federal Government to become a full time caregiver to her disabled child. As a result, the family has had to make do with Rob’s single income… and they did so without complaint for over 30 years.

Rob’s sudden passing is tragedy enough, but it’s made worse by the family’s immediate loss of their only source of income. And while life insurance and retirement accounts do exist, they are not expected to fully replace Rob’s income, especially over the long run…… hence this fundraiser.

So if you know the family or are touched by their story, please consider making a small donation to this fundraiser…… $20 from the hundreds of colleagues, relatives, and friends that Rob, Carolyn, and Natalie have built up over the years will go a long way in easing the family’s anxiety over a suddenly uncertain future.
