The sudden passing of Robert Van Dyk on 28th April, has left many devastated and heartbroken.
Robs four young children have tragically lost their loving father. His family, friends, work colleagues and football community will miss his infectious enthusiasm and positivity.
Rob was open and passionate about mental health and loved being involved in the Penrith Mens Walk and Talk. He was a mentor to many people across Sydney during their physical and mental health struggles, whilst quietly battling his own.
Rob invested a lot of time and endless enthusiasm into our kids. Coaching and travelling across the state with Easts Oztag and coaching his son’s teams at the Crocs.
As a community, we want to give back to Rob and help support his family through this difficult time as they learn to adjust to their new normal.
A Family Trust fund is being set up for his children’s future. Any amount you, your Company, Sports Club or family can donate, will be extremely appreciated.
Let’s help stop the pain and suffering in silence. We will stand together and continue to talk about Rob’s legacy loud and proud.
Thank you for the outpouring of love that is surrounding Rob’s family. They are humbled by your support during their darkest days.
