Uvalde Robb Elementary Shooting Relief for Victim

I am an attorney representing Emilia "Amy" Marin, one of the affected victims at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas. Robb Elementary was the site of the catastrophic incident that led to the massacre of 19 children and two adults.

Amy, a staff member at the school, saw the gunman’s vehicle crash and witnessed him jumping the fence with a rifle before hearing multiple shots being fired. She was responsible for making one of the first calls to 911 and slamming the school door behind her to thwart the shooter’s entry.

During the incident, Amy was forced to hide in a classroom, fearing for her life and for the lives of the students and her grandson, who also attends Robb Elementary. Adding to her devastation, an early press conference about the shooting mistakingly reported that a teacher had propped open the door that the gunman used to enter the building.
