Assaulted and robbed over 4th of July weekend.

Hello, my name is Andre Reed, and I’m a professional traveling street saxophonist. About a week ago (on July 3rd) I was robbed and assaulted in a scheme set up by about 4 or more people, resulting in an emergency room visit. I have since left the area where I was assaulted (Rowlett, Texas) yet the losses I’ve sustained (including in medical care) is too much for me to bear on my own, and I hardly believe I’ll receive any restitution. I haven’t returned to the area in which I was working out of fear it may happen again or worse. I don’t like asking for help, but I don’t know what else to do to keep myself going at this point.
