Robbie Dale Mural Tribute
Donation protected
Footballer Robbie Dale has been a legendary player for English club Blyth Spartans AFC.. In a career spanning 16 seasons, Robbie has made 680 appearances for the north east team, scoring 212 goals. His popularity extends beyond Blyth however and throughout non league football. Recently Robbie was voted as the second best footballer to have ever played at the Northern Premier League level, only just behind the name of England striker, Jamie Vardy. After Robbie announced his retirement in the summer of 2020, Blyth Spartans fans decided to pay tribute to their captain and leader through the creation of a painted mural in his honour, situated on a gable wall of the popular Gino's Fish Bar at the Plessey Road entrance to Croft Park stadium. It is planned that the impressive mural, the design of talented north east artist Frank Styles, will be completed during April 2021. The purpose of this Go Fund Me page is to raise the approx £5000 needed to pay tribute to Robbie, our local legend. If you are are fan of football please help us achieve our aim ! Thankyou.
