Robbie Knab Medical Cost and Recovery Fund

It saddens me to say that my brother Robbie Knab was snowskating at an event in Crystal Mountain, WA when he suffered  from a very serious spinal cord injury. He was airlifted to Seattle hospital where he was treated for a broken C5 vertebrae. He is now in stable condition, but as a result of his injuries he is currently paralyzed. When Robbie was stable enough, he was moved to The Craig Facility in Denver, Colorado to begin physical therapy, where we hope he will regain some mobility. He is currently in good spirits and motivated to begin the long road to recovery. Robbie will be at the Craig Facility for 6 months, of which his insurance will cover up to one month. We hope to raise enough money to keep Robbie at this facility and help with the cost of getting set up afterward.

Robbie has always been an active kid and we hope to do whatever it takes to help Robbie adjust to this new lifestyle. We believe that the Craig Facility is our best hope for any improvement and appreciate any support that you can offer Robbie and our family in these hard times.

My family is also organizing a fundraiser at The Shores Waterfront Restaurant in North Tonawanda, NY on July 6, 2019 from 12PM - 4PM.

Note: Another Gofundme was set up by a friend of the family, at the time of the injury, to help with travel expenses for our family and Robbie's airlift from Seattle to Denver. This goal was $20,000 and was met. We greatly appreciate anyone that donated to this fund and want you to know that it has and will allow our family to travel to and from Seattle and Denver to visit Robbie and support him in his recovery.
