Rob's Medical Fund - NET cancer
Donation protected
As many of you know, Rob has a rare form of cancer, NET carcinoma with mets to his liver and just recently, a few small spots found in his bones. He has been working for the past 15+ years taking care of his two daughters and is the sole breadwinner of this sweet family.
Things aren't going so well for him lately. With a severe colon infection and being on the chemo, he's lost even more weight, is very weak and in a lot of pain. We desperatly need some help. His wife (me) has been able to stay home with our two daughters to take care of him while he still maintained his job working from home but now that he's so weak, he's been unable to work. Things are such that I need to stay home to take care of him while he's going through this new round of treatment but things have taken a turn. With his medical expenses mounting, our income cut and no savings, we are struggling to make ends meet.
He's in the hospital at the moment because of the dehydration, severe infection and to get nutrients that he was unable to obtain while at home and things at home are stressful. Our girls are 12 and 15 and both are experiencing anxiety and worry.
We can't cure cancer (yet) but we can certainly make a difference in those whose lives we cross.
Nothing is impossible, the word itself says 'I'm possible'!
