Medical expenses for Robert Reynolds.

Robert Reynolds has had such a huge impact in many of the communities surrounding Springfield. Not only has he worked with multiple local schools in their Fine Art departments but he has volunteered in huge capacities throughout the city, taught guitar lessons, was a founding member of the band Fun DMC, creates podcasts and is currently working on writing a book. He is always the first one to volunteer his time and talents with an open, generous heart and now he and his family need our help.

On Labor Day, Robert started feeling poorly and when symptoms persisted he went into Priority Care. After a battery of tests, he was told that he would need immediate open heart surgery. He was rushed to Memorial Medical Center where they repaired a leak in his aorta and replaced a torn vein that ran the length of his torso. He is incredibly lucky to have survived and has a long, painful road to recovery.

His wife, Laura, will need some time off of work to help him get through the journey ahead of them, and Robert will have a very long recovery and will be out of work as well. Their family of four could use all of financial support we can give towards impending medical bills.

They have done so very much for many local organizations and individuals in our community and while this may be uncomfortable for them to accept (sometimes you just need help), I know that your generosity will be greatly appreciated! We need their family to be able to focus on healing without the stress of medical bills. Any way you are willing to give, any prayers you can offer up, and all kind words of support will mean the world to them.
